[Which does remarkably little to make him feel better, but he understands this intellectually. He's aware enough of the potential dangers the demon posed -- he'd been physically attacked by the one in Mello's body and is in the process of recovering from the injury.]

[He's doubtful of being contacted upon Mello's revival. Mello has a tendency to go radio silent when he's dealing with heavy emotions. Near can only assume that he'll be full of those when the time comes.]
